About the Role :

Location: Washington State - This role requires candidates to be currently located in Washington. Relocation or remote work is not available.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Building Operations and Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our client team. This role requires a unique blend of technical domain expertise in smart building technologies and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for agile project execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects involving IoT devices, HVAC systems, fire and safety systems, and building communication networks-driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and building intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects related to smart building and building management operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, maintain ADO backlogs, and run scrum ceremonies.
  • Oversee integration and communication of IoT devices, fire safety systems, and other building automation components.
  • Ensure all building systems adhere to safety, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support on network protocols and device communication.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Building Operations, Building Management Systems, or related domains.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps - backlog management, sprints, scrum ceremonies, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of smart building technologies, including HVAC, IoT device ecosystems, fire and safety systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as BACnet, ICMP, and SNMP.
