Job Title: MuleSoft Architect
Location: Remote (Client in CA)
Type: W2 Contract
Experience: 15+ Years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a MuleSoft Architect with deep experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade API integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and a solid background in modern API architecture, security, and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect API integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Integrate with 3rd-party APIs (REST/SOAP) across various backend systems (.NET, Java, Node.js, etc.)
Implement secure API practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API gateway policies)
Define and manage Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and mocking
Guide teams on 15-factor app principles and API lifecycle best practices
Collaborate with security teams to meet OWASP/API security standards
Lead troubleshooting of integration edge cases and performance issues

Must-Have Skills:

MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager)
OAuth2.0, JWT, API Gateway implementation
RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, API mocking tools
Experience with CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices
Deep understanding of integration patterns, resilience, and 15-factor apps

Certifications (Required/Preferred):

MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA)
MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA)
TOGAF 9.1 Certified
