Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer / Programmer Analyst to support multiple enterprise applications, including several instances of the Accela Civic Platform. This role involves new development, enhancements, production support, and technical consulting to streamline critical business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accela configuration, scripting, reporting, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise applications.

Support and maintain multiple Accela instances across various agencies.

Provide technical guidance and consulting to internal teams and stakeholders.

Enhance and modify existing Accela applications to align with business needs.

Assist with additional development efforts such as web services and client-server applications.

Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application performance.

Configure system security roles and follow best practices for permissions and FIDs.

Promote changes using Configuration Manager exports/imports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Accela Platform (3–5 years required)

Accela Civic Platform (Licensing, Case Management, Citizen Access)

Design, configuration, scripting (event, batch, pageflow, expressions)

Setting up and managing application security roles & FIDs

Promoting changes through Configuration Manager

Accela reporting (AD HOC, Crystal Reports, SSRS)

Technical Skills

Microsoft SQL Server (3–5 years)

Rhino JavaScript

Java, .NET, HTML, XML

Web services development

SVN and GIT source control (1–3 years)
