We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Report Developer for one of our esteemed clients.

Role: Report Developer

Location: REMOTE

Duration: Longterm

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality, interactive dashboards and reports using TIBCO Spotfire and Tableau.
  • Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data visualization needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop appropriate reporting solutions.
  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, Excel, APIs) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as needed to prepare data for reporting.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation to support report development.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all developed reports and dashboards.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure they meet business requirements and are free of errors.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for existing reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize report performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Spotfire, Tableau, and data visualization trends.
  • Train and support end-users on how to effectively use developed reports and dashboards.
  • Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years of proven experience as a Report Developer, BI Developer, or Data Analyst with a strong focus on data visualization.
  • Expert-level proficiency in TIBCO Spotfire (dashboard development, scripting, data functions).
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau (dashboard development, calculations, parameters, sets).
  • Excellent SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance.
