Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Contract – Right to Hire)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Cleveland, OH | Dallas, TX | Birmingham, AL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: Through 12/31/2025 (6 Months)
Potential for Extension: Yes
Conversion Potential: Yes – Candidates must be open to full-time conversion (No visa sponsorship available)


About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a high-impact team focused on risk mitigation, technical transformation, and delivering measurable business value. This is a contract position with strong potential for extension or conversion to full-time based on business need and performance.

This individual will play a key role in initiatives related to fraud detection, credit risk management, and application enhancement, contributing to revenue growth, cost savings, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to plan and implement key project initiatives

  • Interface directly with business stakeholders, including the lending and technology departments

  • Track project progress, manage timelines, and assist with project release planning

  • Manage and monitor project budgets, actuals, and forecasts

  • Support organizational change initiatives and align projects with strategic goals


Qualifications:

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in technical project management

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience in project budgeting and financial tracking

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred Tools & Methodologies:

  • Agile/Scrum and SAFe Agile frameworks

  • Experience using Clarizen or similar project management tools

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement

  • Highly organized and proactive


Preferred Background:

  • Industry experience in banking or technology

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • PMP Certification is a plus


Team Environment:

You’ll be working across multiple crews, typically consisting of 20–30 team members, with varied initiatives. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities to engage with multiple technologies and develop domain expertise in lending and risk.
