Arthrex is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst to work directly with Product Development, Design Engineering and Quality departments within Arthrex to specialize in PTC Windchill and ecosystem, involves leading the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and strategic alignment across departments. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a Bachelors degree will be essential for this position. Main Objective:
Responsible for facilitating process improvements engaging business and IT, as well as design and/or configure, analyze, implement, test, and maintain the organization s on-premise and cloud computing applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for PTC Windchill, including modules like PDMLink, MPMLink, SUMA, ThingWorx, and ProjectLink.
* Configure and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycles, access control, and data models as required.
* Support system upgrades, patches, and integration efforts with SAP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
* Continuously monitor and propose refined processes based on performance data, technology, and feedback.
* Align implementation and solution efforts with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.
* Define and enforce PTC ecosystem architectural principles
* Conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and gap analysis for engineering and product development workflows.
* Coach product owners in the continuous refinement of business and functional requirements, while leading feasibility assessments to ensure alignment with strategic goals
* Recommend process improvements and system enhancements aligned with business goals and IT Initiatives.
* Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms that support the digital roadmap.
* Ensure PLM solutions support and enhance these processes effectively.
* Lead or support PLM-related projects from initiation through deployment.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and manufacturing.
* Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and technical feasibility studies.
* Support user acceptance testing and user training activities.
* Adhere to the Quality System Procedures and Change Control.
* Provide Application End User support.
* Respond, resolve, or escalate reported incidents.
* Under management direction, may participate as SME for audits.
* Responsible for coordinating application needs from back-end platforms through user interface.
* Complete all QA Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions in a timely manner.
* Participate in assessment of application security and identity management requirements, where applicable.
* Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, detailed functional requirements, operational requirements, process flows, and manual and automated test cases.
* Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.
* Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
* Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate issues where appropriate.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
* Expected to gain and demonstrate knowledge of assigned Arthrex software application(s).
* Follow established methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements or use cases with acceptance criteria.
* Create and maintain application operational and instructional documentation, as necessary.
* Monitor, record, investigate, and diagnose system faults and errors aimed at resolving technical issues and respond to requests for support.
* Contribute to the development of roadmaps.
* Support the adoption of solutions by sponsoring business departments.
* Create functional design documents and other relevant documents maintaining adherence to the software development lifecycle.
* Mentor junior Analysts.
* Work with IT management and Business Analysts to provide direction in large cross-functional teams.
* Provide technical training assistance for users, applications programming team, and other staff.
* Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.
* Viewed as a subject matter expert in the field within the organization.
Specialized Skills:
* Experience with PTC Products (Windchill, Codebeamer, Thingworx) required
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
* Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
* Experience working in projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure is a plus
* Experience working as a Product Owner in a DevOp structured environment.
* Project Management or PMP certifications is a plus.
* Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP) is a plus.
* Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an ERP system is a plus.
* Experience with test management and automation tools is preferred.
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor s degree required
* 5 + years of relevant work experience required
