Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and plan layouts of electrical systems or components, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
2. Conduct detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
3. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project completion in accordance with project schedules.
4. Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of data, including the use of SKM Power Tools.
5. Ensure designs and installations comply with industry codes and standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
6. Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
7. Participate in field surveys, studies, and site investigations.
8. Provide technical support and direction to junior engineers and designers.
9. Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
10. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and other engineers to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM Power Tools.
5. Comprehensive understanding of electrical design, circuitry, and machine operations.
6. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NFPA 70, NFPA 101, NEC, Life Safety Code, I-Codes.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
