Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Onsite Technical Coordinator with a strong background in MuleSoft API Platform and/or IBM App Connect to lead integration support programs, ensure service delivery excellence, and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of project management expertise, technical-functional knowledge, and client-facing experience to ensure smooth delivery and coordination of enterprise integration support services.
This role requires onsite presence (or client coordination), stakeholder engagement, and coordination across offshore teams, with a focus on maintaining high-quality service standards and proactive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client on integration support topics.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical leads, and vendor teams.
- Ensure clarity of deliverables, timelines, SLAs, and ongoing improvement plans.
Project Management & Delivery Oversight
- Manage support engagements across MuleSoft API Platform and/or IBM App Connect ecosystems.
- Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of support and minor enhancement projects.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Coordinate across onshore and offshore teams, align priorities, and manage escalations.
- Track KPIs, SLAs, backlog grooming, and service reporting.
Functional & Technical Coordination
- Understand business processes and functional flows supported by APIs or App Connect integrations.
- Guide technical teams in debugging critical production issues.
- Review UAT/business validation readiness and cutover plans.
- Participate in solution reviews, support documentation validation, and deployment planning.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation planning.
- Participate in audits, RCA reviews, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure operational configuration (OCM) and control environments (OCE) are well-managed.
People & Communication Leadership
- Facilitate stand-ups, daily syncs, and steering committee discussions.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of quality and ownership.
- Drive communication across distributed teams and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration projects involving MuleSoft and/or IBM App Connect.
- Strong understanding of API lifecycle, integration governance, and middleware platforms.
- Proven experience in managing support teams (L2/L3) and service delivery in agile or hybrid models.
- Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce/SAP/Retail integrations is a plus.
- Good exposure to incident and change management practices under the ITIL framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft or IBM App Connect certification (Functional or Technical) is a plus.
- Experience working with offshore delivery models and global clients.
