Duration: 6+ months

Location: PA-Philadelphia, Hybrid 3-4 days on site

Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Front End Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.

Responsibilities:

Work with the team to translate work into pixel perfect HTML/CSS/JS

Help manage projects through the design, development and QA

Work with a variety of CMS and ecommerce systems and framework

Code software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers

Standardize the quality assurance procedure for software

Oversee testing and develops fixes

Work on progressive redesign and maintenance projects that have an immediate impact on how our customers experience our brand every day

Develop new user-facing features

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

Participate in code review

Enable and configure all necessary plugins to power the site's functionality

Identify blockers and applying creative solutions within company guidelines

Stay on top of current trends in web development

Qualifications:

May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 8+ years experience in the field or in a related area

Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a front end development

A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager

Front end programming experience in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Node, React, Angular etc.)

Experience integrating with scalable back-end services (e.g., REST / graph-QL)

Experience in functional, integration and E2E (End 2 End) testing tools and practices

Experience with code repositories and version control practices like GitHub

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices is plus

Experience in agile development methodology

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
