Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Deerfield, Illinois, on a contract basis. This role involves providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting a Windows 11 migration project. Responsibilities:
Offer deskside support to approximately 50 users by addressing technical issues and providing solutions.
Resolve support tickets related to password resets, software installations, internet connectivity, and user access to systems such as SharePoint.
Assist with the Windows 11 migration project by imaging devices, applying updates, and troubleshooting compatibility issues.
Ensure clear and precise communication with end-users while delivering outstanding customer service.
Perform hands-on tasks requiring adherence to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe boots and goggles when necessary.
Maintain and configure desktop hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other IT team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
Document and track technical issues to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Tier II IT support experience.
Strong proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows 10.
Ability to work independently and manage diverse technical issues effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including reliability, punctuality, and customer-oriented communication.
Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks in environments requiring safety equipment.
Knowledge of Windows 11 and Intune is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Certifications or relevant degrees in IT are a plus.
Familiarity with desktop imaging and workstation setup processes.
