IT Data Analyst

Central Houston company has an immediate need for a IT Data Analyst for a permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

-Gather data from diverse sources and transform it into a usable format for analysis.
Implement formulas, functions, and macros to automate repetitive tasks and utilize scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, and Google Apps Script to enhance data processing efficiency.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and collaborate with -IT professionals to integrate and streamline data processes
-IT Data Analyst will fine-tune database and spreadsheet queries for improved performance.
-Leverage platforms for handling and analyzing large datasets in a cloud environment.
-Create create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards that drive meaningful and impactful decisions.
-Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends and patterns.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree
Two years experience
Strong scripting skills in SQL, JavaScript, Python, and Google Apps Script.
Experience with JDBC connections and BigQuery.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing relational databases.
Proven experience in data analysis, spreadsheet management (Google sheets), and programming.
Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
