Job Details
- 10+ years of experience
- Oracle architecture, installation, upgrades, patching, and database configuration
- Capacity planning, space and storage management
- Performance tuning and backup/recovery (online/offline, RMAN)
- Schema management and logical backups (Data Pump, exp)
- RAC setup, management, and hardware/software components knowledge
- Data Guard configuration (logical and physical standby)
- OEM installation, monitoring, and alert resolution (ORA errors)
- Monitor Oracle DB performance and provide tuning advice as necessary
- Provide support during stress testing, production release, and critical events as related to Oracle
- Ensure all standards are in place prior to production releases
- Ensure Oracle patches are applied to production environments within 60 days of vendor releases
- Assist Application teams creating test conditions and results to support expected workloads
- Provide any regulatory documentation necessary to meet corporate requirements
- Provide support to the Grid Control organization as necessary
