Compensation: $68,000 - $78,000 / year

What are the core responsibilities for the role?
  • Collect and analyze traffic data and prepare technical reports (e.g., traffic counts, speed studies, traffic signal warrants, crash analysis, etc.)
  • Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects
  • Perform civil engineering design and associated calculations and interpret plans from other engineering-related disciplines
  • Apply technical expertise and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects
  • Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities
  • Adhere to Horrocks safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment
  • Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product that is error-free
  • Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering - Engineer-In-Training
  • 0-2+ years of experience in civil design is preferred. Entry-level candidates will be considered
  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
