Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Tester with strong functional knowledge in Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, specifically in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. The role involves validating end-to-end order management flows, ensuring seamless system integration, and supporting high-quality delivery across SAP and connected applications.

Key Responsibilities:

< data-start="747" data-end="792">SAP Functional & Integration Testing</>

  • Work on Order Management System (OMS) processes within SAP, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

  • Understand and test how OMS integrates with procurement processes and impacts financial postings.

  • Validate integration of OMS with CRM, POS applications (Retail), or backend systems through middleware.

  • Test data exchange mechanisms including APIs and IDocs across systems for various business processes (e.g., order creation, fulfillment, billing).

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to integrations and data flow.

  • Review business requirements and derive detailed test cases and test scenarios.

  • Execute functional, integration, and regression tests across SAP SD/MM modules and related interfaces.

  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results to ensure complete test coverage.

  • Identify and document defects clearly, providing all relevant details including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence.

< data-start="1917" data-end="1955">Defect Management & Reporting</>

  • Participate in defect triage meetings, helping prioritize and assign issues for resolution.

  • Track defects through the entire defect management lifecycle from identification to closure.

  • Re-test resolved defects and update test documentation accordingly.

  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues proactively with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 8 years of experience in SAP Testing with strong knowledge of SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules.

  • Hands-on experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) and related processes such as order creation, delivery, invoicing, and payments.

  • Understanding of OMS integration with procurement, CRM, POS, and financials.

  • Familiarity with IDocs, APIs, and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI) for system integrations.

  • Experience in creating and executing test cases, logging and managing defects, and using test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, or similar).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

  • Confident in articulating technical and business processes during client discussions.

  • Nice to Have:

    • Experience with Retail (POS) or Salesforce CRM integrations.

    • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA testing.

    • Working knowledge of Agile or DevOps environments.
