As a CNC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process, translating complex engineering designs into precise machine instructions. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing CNC programs for a variety of multi-axis machining centers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write complex CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines and/or multi-axis lathes using Siemens NX CAM software.
  • Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models to determine optimal machining strategies, tool selection, and cutting parameters.
  • Create and maintain detailed setup sheets, tooling lists, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers, machinists, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless production and resolve any manufacturing challenges.
  • Perform simulations and trial runs to verify program accuracy and prevent collisions or errors.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cycle time reduction, and enhanced surface finishes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues on the shop floor.
  • Ensure all programming activities adhere to strict quality control standards and safety protocols.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Mandatory: Verifiable, hands-on experience in CNC programming using Siemens NX software. Candidates without demonstrated Siemens NX experience will not be considered.
  • Proven track record in programming multi-axis (3, 4, and 5-axis) CNC milling machines and/or lathes.
  • Strong understanding of G-code and M-code, as well as various machine tool controllers.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
  • Solid understanding of cutting tool technology, fixture design, and material properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills.
