Position: Senior Full Stack Developer
Location: Lincoln, NE
Work: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
Duration: 24 Months
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- The client has developed and currently supports a custom workflow application. This is a Windows desktop application built using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for the user interface and Microsoft SQL Server for the backend database. We are embarking on a modernization initiative to rewrite this application using Blazor and migrate the infrastructure to AWS. To support this effort, client is seeking additional development resources. The selected developer will play a key role in the integration, design, development, enhancement, and implementation of various components within the modernized workflow system. This role involves close collaboration with both business stakeholders and IT technical teams as part of an integrated development team.
Main Position Responsibilities (see attached job description for full details):
- The Senior Full Stack Developer shall be responsible for participating in the full life-cycle development process including requirements analysis, system design, development, continuous integration and deployment, configuration management, testing, implementation, and support. This development process shall involve close collaboration with staff, other contracted resources from the Supplier and contracted resources from other firms. The Senior full stack Developer must take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion.
- The Senior full stack Developer shall develop and maintain comprehensive architecture and integration documentation, participate in code reviews to ensure processes support existing architecture, follow defined guidelines and coding standards, and meet user requirements. All work performed including coding, testing, documentation, and status reporting shall be done in a manner consistent with client standards and processes.
- The Senior full stack Developer shall collaborate with end users and provide exceptional customer service by becoming a trusted business advisor. The senior full stack Developer shall be called on at times to participate knowledge sharing and transfer activities with designated Client staff and contracted resources.

Duration: 24 months contract with option to hire.
Nice to have Skills:
- Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, or integrating systems that support health and welfare benefits processing, including eligibility management, enrollment workflows, and compliance automation.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of retirement benefits processing, such as contribution tracking, distribution logic, and integration with third-party retirement platforms or payroll systems.
Top 3 things looking for:
- 5+ years of back-end design and implementation of server-side functionality and APIs experience. Preferred: C#, , AWS-RDS/MySQL, and MS SQL Server.
- 5+ years of Web User Interface design and implementation using modern frameworks. Preferred: Blazor.
- AWS Cloud service including Lambda, CloudFront, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, Glue, IAM, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch
