Role : Power BI/Report Engineer

Role Overview

We re looking for a Power BI Engineer who can transform raw data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and reports. This role blends technical expertise with business acumen to support decision-making across departments.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure, SharePoint, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Bonus: Experience with Python, R, or other analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data models.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
• Optimize performance of reports and datasets for scalability and responsiveness.
• Implement row-level security and manage user access within Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and testing.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI features and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in BI development or data analysis.
• Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
