Job Description
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise. The consultant will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying Oracle Cloud SaaS solutions, Integrating, and extending these solutions using Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This position involves writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud while ensuring high-quality deliverables. The Technical Consultant will collaborate with the business and IT teams to design and develop various customizations for Oracle Fusion ERP.
Job Responsibilities / Key Deliverables
  • Design, develop, and deploy Oracle Cloud SaaS solutions, integrating and extending them using Oracle PaaS offerings such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Write code, analyze data, and contribute to the design and implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to design and develop customizations for Oracle Fusion ERP across VBCS, OIC, PL/SQL, SOAP, REST, ATP Database, OTBI, and ADFDI.
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for interfaces, reports, data conversions, and application extensions.
  • Design and document RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows) objects; create solution blueprints for project execution.
  • Design and develop technical components in VBCS, OIC, PL/SQL, SOAP/REST services, ATP Database, OTBI, and ADFDI.
  • Build integrations using middleware technologies (preferably OIC) leveraging integration patterns and orchestration frameworks.
  • Design and develop OIC integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and legacy systems.
  • Develop and deploy complex Oracle Integration solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud tools and PaaS components.
  • Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud adapters, process applications, and file transfer capabilities.
  • Perform Fusion-based integration development using OIC and VBCS (design, implementation, and support for Fusion Applications and integrations).
  • Work with ESS Jobs, Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF), lookups, and value sets.
  • Leverage technical expertise in Fusion APIs, FBDI, ADF DI loads, BIP, and OTBI reports.
  • Design and develop reports using BI, OTBI, and BICC methodologies.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to analyze requirements and recommend technical solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members on OIC integrations.
  • Customize Fusion pages using sandbox environments.
  • Lead and independently execute development activities including integrations, extensions, customizations, and data migrations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
