Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud Application Architect to support the IT modernization efforts at CEPI. The selected candidate will be the technical expert responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing cloud application components while ensuring security, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level cloud application architecture.

  • Provide hands-on technical expertise in application development, middleware, security, and database design.

  • Define architecture design methodologies and promote best practices across teams.

  • Oversee the development and integration of APIs and cloud-based components.

  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure all designs adhere to enterprise security standards.

  • Collaborate with the DTMB Office of Enterprise Architecture and the Office of Enterprise Security.

Highly Desired Skills & Technologies:

  • Deep knowledge of cloud application development and integration frameworks

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, .NET, HTML, XML, SQL, SOAP, REST, PowerShell, Function Apps, IaC (Infrastructure as Code)

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, observability, distributed tracing

  • Proficiency in secure coding and relational database concepts

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues independently
