Job Summary:

ERP Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing company ERP system and supporting IT applications as needed. This role involves ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of ERP applications, supporting end users, maintaining system integrity, and leading improvement initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for providing support to Power Automate, Power BI and other Microsoft 365 applications.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Maintenance & Improvements

• Current and future ERP system administration (module setup, upgrades, testing, and vendor coordination)
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• Reporting and automation work (Power BI, Power Automate, data extraction)
• Escalate complex issues with detailed reports for further investigation and resolution
• Identifying the root cause of problems and proposing solutions to prevent recurrence
• Subject matter expert on applications to provide recommendations on preferred usage and best practices on the platform
• Participate in the selection, project planning, implementation, and ongoing support of proposed software solutions
• Participate in the development of test plans, quality assurance and change management of all system upgrades and deployments
• Coordinate with Operations, Accounting, Quality, and IT to clarify reporting needs, improve data workflows, and implement technical solutions
• Experience transferring ERP systems and mapping data
• Manage EDI partner setup, certification, and version control
• Ability to create and modify scripting
• Assist with Database design and development

Information Technology

• Support for SQL database tasks related to ERP and EDI (backups, monitoring, data integrity)
• Assist IT department with Windows Server, ERP, and SQL environment upgrades
• Assist with vendors for licensing and patching
• Assist IT department with basic tasks, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field

Experience:

• Previous experience with ERP systems Years: 3-5 years

• 3 plus years of experience with ERP systems such as SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, Power BI etc
• Knowledge of database management and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and IT compliance requirements
• Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware) is a plus
