The client is looking for ONE (1) Business Analyst/Consultant III to work part time (25 hours per week)
Will close to submissions on 8/12/2025 at 4:00PM CST.

Interview process: Over zoom for the 1st round interview. 2nd round also zoom only unless candidate is very close Madison area and able to make it. the hiring manager's preference is to hire someone who is local to Wisconsin for this type of position.
Duration: 6/30/2026, with the potential to extend for an additional term(s)

Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. Part time (25 hours per week) can be flexible with 5 hours per day or 3 full days per week, etc.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Writes operation memoranda and help text for agency workers to learn how to use new functionality. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Develops RFPs.
Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
