Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer / Architect to lead the design, implementation, and advanced support of a mission-critical global network infrastructure. This is a key technical leadership role requiring deep hands-on expertise with Juniper and Palo Alto Networks technologies in complex service provider and large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and deploy scalable, secure WAN, LAN, and data center networks using Juniper MX Routers, EX/QFX Switches, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
Design and maintain MPLS core architecture including L2/L3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering (TE), and LDP/RSVP protocols
Implement complex BGP routing policies for multi-homed internet and global route optimization
Lead strategic network projects aligned with business and security goals
Design and fine-tune QoS policies to support VoIP and IP Video Surveillance (IPVS)
Ensure seamless delivery of VoIP services including SBCs and gateways
Architect and support IPVS infrastructure including camera-to-VMS communication and storage networking
Conduct capacity planning and traffic analysis for high-resolution IP cameras (H.264/H.265)
Manage VLAN segmentation and PoE/PoE+ power budgets for IPVS systems
Configure Juniper SRX and Palo Alto NGFWs including NAT, VPNs, User-ID, and App-ID
Enforce network security policies including 802.1x authentication
Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support and root cause analysis for complex incidents
Utilize tools like Wireshark for packet capture and stream diagnostics
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years in network engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior or architect role
Expert-level proficiency with Juniper Junos OS (MX, EX/QFX, SRX)
Deep understanding of BGP routing, path manipulation, and peering
Extensive experience with MPLS networks including LDP, RSVP-TE, and VPNs
Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama
Strong background in designing networks for high-volume, real-time traffic including VoIP and IPVS
Hands-on experience with QoS policy design and troubleshooting.
