Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer located in the Durham, NC area. The Quality Assurance Engineer's role is to ensure that web applications meet the required standards of quality before they are used. The Quality Assurance Engineer works closely with developers, designers and project managers to ensure applications are running efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer include:

Strong experience in manual and automated testing (60% manual, 40% automation), with hands-on expertise in Selenium framework for UI test automation

Skilled in SQL for writing complex queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity across systems.

Experience with Power BI for creating dashboards and analyzing QA metrics or product data to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Engineer include:

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

3+ years' experience in quality assurance engineering experience

Strong backend database testing experience

SQL skills

Compensation for the Quality Assurance Engineer includes:

$95,000 - $105,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law

Hybrid work environment - 3 days on-site
