JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Employment Type: Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department by handling data entry, processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable, and reconciling bank statements under the guidance of the Accounting Manager. Additionally maintaining financial records, assisting with audits, and assisting with the general day to day tasks within the accounting department.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Accounts payable coding and check runs.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Resolve A/P and A/R discrepancies.
- Assist with A/R invoicing and A/R cash applications.
- Experience using ERP (Accumatica a plus).
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month end journal entries (intercompany cash transfers, A/P accruals, and prepaid amortizations).
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This role also closely communicates with the Supply Chain, and Contracts departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor s Degree in accounting or related field.
- 2- 3 years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, or related field.
- Accounting experience including data entry, verifying input, batch processing, distribution of financial information, and completion of month-end closing.
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Must have outstanding work ethic, attitude, and be very dependable.
- Curious, wants to learn, driven, asks questions, professional.
- Excellent soft skills with a customer service attitude.
- MS Office Suite.
- Able to lift and carry 20 lbs.
- MANDATORY - or permanent resident (s) due to Government ITAR regulations.
