Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Reporting Analyst to join our Complex Claims Recovery division. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain both internal and client-facing reports, leveraging Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Implementation, Business Analysis, and Product Ownership—to translate evolving business and client needs into actionable data solutions.
This is a fully remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, datasets, and paginated reports
Design and deploy SSRS reports, including parameterized and scheduled reports
Write and tune SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting
Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across source systems and final reports
Manage Power BI Service deployments, permissions, and refresh schedules
Support ad hoc reporting and perform data analysis to guide recovery strategies
Core Technical Skills
Power BI: DAX, data modeling, visualizations, workspace/permission management, refresh scheduling, paginated reports
SSRS: Report development, deployment, scheduling, and subscriptions
SQL Server: Query writing, stored procedures, performance tuning, large dataset management, and normalization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
2–5 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role
Proficiency with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL Server
Experience working with cross-functional business teams
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
Preferred certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)
MCSA: SQL Server or BI Reporting
Power Platform or Azure Data certifications
Industry experience in healthcare, insurance, or recovery strongly preferred
