Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Reporting Analyst to join our Complex Claims Recovery division. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain both internal and client-facing reports, leveraging Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Implementation, Business Analysis, and Product Ownership—to translate evolving business and client needs into actionable data solutions.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, datasets, and paginated reports

  • Design and deploy SSRS reports, including parameterized and scheduled reports

  • Write and tune SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting

  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across source systems and final reports

  • Manage Power BI Service deployments, permissions, and refresh schedules

  • Support ad hoc reporting and perform data analysis to guide recovery strategies

Core Technical Skills

  • Power BI: DAX, data modeling, visualizations, workspace/permission management, refresh scheduling, paginated reports

  • SSRS: Report development, deployment, scheduling, and subscriptions

  • SQL Server: Query writing, stored procedures, performance tuning, large dataset management, and normalization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2–5 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role

  • Proficiency with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL Server

  • Experience working with cross-functional business teams

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

  • Preferred certifications:

    • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)

    • MCSA: SQL Server or BI Reporting

    • Power Platform or Azure Data certifications

  • Industry experience in healthcare, insurance, or recovery strongly preferred
