Description:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile API Developer with experience in native iOS and Android development to build and integrate Java-based APIs using the Micronaut Framework. This role focuses on enabling mobile applications to interact with SAP systems by calling SAP function modules via custom APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Design and implement lightweight, high-performance Java APIs using the Micronaut Framework.
  • Integrate Java APIs with SAP function modules to support enterprise business logic.
  • Collaborate with mobile, SAP, and backend engineering teams to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production mobile API integrations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in native iOS (Swift/Obj-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
  • Proficient in Java API development with exposure to Micronaut or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with SAP function modules, including integration via RFCs or OData services.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and mobile app architecture.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools, mobile API security, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Gateway, SAP PI/PO, or SAP BTP.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems.
  • Previous work in enterprise or high-compliance environments.
