We are seeking a bold, strategic, and technically savvy Senior Automation Lead to drive our enterprise automation initiatives. This role will will serve as the driving connection between cross-functional engineering teams and our automation contractors. You'll lead the charge in defining automation strategy, managing execution, and ensuring alignment with our frameworks and processes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of scalable automation strategies across multiple teams
- Supervise and mentor a team of contractors and informal reports supporting automation efforts
- Define and manage the automation backlog, track progress, and ensure delivery milestones are met
- Enforce adherence to automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Act as a liaison between engineering leadership and delivery teams, maintaining a constant feedback loop
- Champion low-code/no-code automation tools; TOSCA experience is a plus
- Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in high-stakes, cross-functional environments
- Influence stakeholders constructively-even when it means challenging the status quo
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering or automation
- 3+ years of experience leading automation initiatives at scale
- Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to deliver tough feedback constructively
- Experience managing contractors or offshore teams
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TOSCA or similar automation tools
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale automation transformation
