Job Summary

We are seeking a bold, strategic, and technically savvy Senior Automation Lead to drive our enterprise automation initiatives. This role will will serve as the driving connection between cross-functional engineering teams and our automation contractors. You'll lead the charge in defining automation strategy, managing execution, and ensuring alignment with our frameworks and processes. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is assertive, outcome-driven, and thrives in environments where influence and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of scalable automation strategies across multiple teams
  • Supervise and mentor a team of contractors and informal reports supporting automation efforts
  • Define and manage the automation backlog, track progress, and ensure delivery milestones are met
  • Enforce adherence to automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Act as a liaison between engineering leadership and delivery teams, maintaining a constant feedback loop
  • Champion low-code/no-code automation tools; TOSCA experience is a plus
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in high-stakes, cross-functional environments
  • Influence stakeholders constructively-even when it means challenging the status quo

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering or automation
  • 3+ years of experience leading automation initiatives at scale
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to deliver tough feedback constructively
  • Experience managing contractors or offshore teams
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with TOSCA or similar automation tools
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management
  • Prior experience in enterprise-scale automation transformation
