TITLE: Technical Product Owner with banking industry
Location: Cincinnati, OH. FULLY ON-SITE. Candidates must be able to work on our w2. NOTE: The client would like local candidates only at this time. If you have a relo from within 2 hours away I may eventually be able to consider them, but not initially. They want to see some local candidate with local addresses.

Responsible for owning the product backlog, driving delivery, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories
Manage multiple features at once and ensure work gets delivered in prioritized order
Drive requirements gathering and definition as needed for stories
Work closely with development teams to deliver stories that add customer value at a regular cadence
Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment)
Articulates epics and features. Actively works with the team in decomposing epics/features into user stories that are granular enough for the team to estimate and work.
Evangelizes and communicates product capabilities and roadmap to internal groups as well as externally to clients.
Prioritizes the product backlog according to business value/ROI during planning
Establishes business domain knowledge to the team and represent the customers needs.
Coach and mentor team members
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree
Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers and presentation layer tools is a plus, but not required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have Experience
5+ years of product ownership experience in banking industry
5+ years of technical experience
Experience as a product owner or business analyst with product ownership, designing or developing software
Willingness to work on both the product side and the technical side
SAFe Agile
Requirements gathering and User Stories. Jira.
Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories
Experience articulating Epics & Features.
Own the product backlog prioritizing work based on business value and ROI.
Work with developers throughout the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle): analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Ability to Communicate product roadmaps and updates to internal stakeholders and external clients.
