Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to drive backend development and lead technical teams for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, modern frameworks, and proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering large-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
• Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
• Oversee application architecture and technical decision-making
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and SOA architecture
• Strong experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka / JMS
• Strong experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in BFSI / Banking domain (JPMC environment preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
