What would you do?

Position : Product Analyst (BA/DA)
Location : McLean, VA (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a mix of a product analyst/systems analyst and the following skillsets:

  • Mappings - XML to JSON mapping process - understanding flow of data and conditionality to create mappings - both business value and technical implementation
  • Technical Acumen - able to create user stories that are driven from customer value/business needs while at same time understanding the technical piece of implementation
  • Communication - being able to articulate both business and technical aspects
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Candidate will be primarily responsible to understand and document the current data mappings in existing system and create the data mappings in the new system.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to support business decision-making and process improvements.
  • Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new applications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient use of business systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must have experience with RDBMS including but not limited to Oracle, DB2
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong experience and knowledge of the Secondary Mortgage Domain.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with mortgage industry processes and terminology.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
