Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced Application Delivery Engineer / Consultant with 4 6 years of expertise in deploying and optimizing application delivery and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with F5 modules (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) and Cloudflare services (Zero Trust, WAF), along with strong scripting skills in TCL and Python. This role involves supporting F5 SHAPE Security for bot mitigation and fraud prevention, troubleshooting application performance, and managing traffic flows. The position is suited for a Senior Consultant or Lead role, requiring certifications such as F5-CTS and Cloudflare Specialist.



Key Responsibilities





Deploy and Optimize F5 Solutions: Configure and manage F5 modules including Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), Application Security Manager (ASM), and Access Policy Manager (APM) to ensure high availability and performance of applications.

Manage Cloudflare Services: Implement and maintain Cloudflare Zero Trust and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to secure web applications and enforce access policies.

Support F5 SHAPE Security: Leverage F5 SHAPE bot mitigation and fraud prevention platform to protect web and mobile applications from automated attacks, credential stuffing, account takeovers, and other fraudulent activities.

Troubleshoot and Optimize: Diagnose and resolve application performance issues, analyze traffic flows, and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and system reliability.

Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts in TCL and Python to automate configurations, monitoring, and maintenance tasks for F5 and Cloudflare environments.

Collaboration and Leadership: Act as a Senior Consultant or Lead, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, scalable application delivery solutions.

Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation and reports to support deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.





Required Skills and Qualifications





Experience: 4 6 years of hands-on experience in application delivery, network security, or related fields.

Technical Expertise:



Proficient in deploying and optimizing F5 modules (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM).

Strong knowledge of Cloudflare Zero Trust and WAF configuration and management.

Experience with F5 SHAPE Security for bot detection, credential stuffing prevention, account takeover protection, and behavioral analytics.

Skilled in scripting with TCL and Python for automation and configuration.





Certifications:



F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) in relevant modules.

Cloudflare Specialist certification or equivalent experience.





Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application performance and traffic flow issues.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with use cases in industries such as banking, retail, and large enterprises for fraud prevention and application security.
