The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You'll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You'll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

Ford's Purchasing team works to ensure that parts and services sourced from around the globe are of the highest quality, at optimal cost and delivered on-time. We aim to build strong relationships with the supply base so that Ford can produce vehicles that our customers want and value. Building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with a diverse range of suppliers helps us lower costs, improve quality and make progress toward our sustainability goals. We recognize that a diverse supply base is an integral part of our overall success, providing fresh perspectives that lead to cutting-edge innovations and accelerated business development. We continue to foster productive relationships with entrepreneurs from a wide range of backgrounds to meet our customers' needs and expectations. Your responsibility grows as fast as you can handle it, giving you an opportunity to make a major contribution to our products and success.

In this position...

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams regionally and/or globally.
  • Meet or exceed Purchasing objectives.

You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Strong computer system skills.
  • Collaborative negotiation competency.
  • Inter-personal skills and communication.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Work related experience.
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Human centered design thinking experience optional.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
