POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Salesforce Experience Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions that enhance customer, partner, and employee engagement. The role includes building secure, responsive, and intuitive digital experiences, integrating with internal systems, and adhering to Salesforce development best practices. This customer-facing position involves regular collaboration with business stakeholders and internal technology teams, ensuring that solutions align with strategic goals and platform governance.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud sites and digital experiences.
  • Customize Lightning components (Aura and/or LWC) to support user experience requirements.
  • Integrate Experience Cloud with other Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and external systems.
  • Customize page layouts, navigation menus, themes, and branding to meet user and business requirements.
  • Work with architects and developers to implement and maintain scalable Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Experience Cloud implementations.
  • Participate in and lead technical design and code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, accessibility, and data sharing principles.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and accessibility across all devices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Provide accurate level of effort estimates based on business requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote Salesforce best practices.
  • Serve as a technical lead on Experience Cloud-related projects.
  • Actively contribute to platform governance discussions.
  • Foster innovative thinking and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide off-hours support on occasion for critical releases or incidents.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development with at least 1 2 years focused on Experience Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.
  • Strong grasp of front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design).
  • Proficient in Apex programming and Salesforce declarative development.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security and sharing model, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
  • Experience Cloud Consultant certification (preferred or nice to have).

  • Knowledge of design systems (SLDS, Bootstrap, Material UI).
  • Experience with Figma or other design/prototyping tools.

  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to report to work in person and to attend work-related functions/activities.
  • Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to occasionally travel as required.
  • Ability to type and utilize various software programs efficiently and operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to work in an office setting with moderate noise levels.
  • Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, frequent talking or hearing, occasional push/pull, stoop/kneel, bend/twist, and reach to retrieve or move items in a typical office environment.
  • Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
  • This role has been designated as Hybrid, which gives employees the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and working in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday or as Remote role, which means the employee will work entirely offsite.
