REQUIRED SKILLS
Candidate must have excellent math skills and/or possess and show good fundamentals in one or more of the following:
Signal Processing Algorithms
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
Radars and RF Target Signatures
Electromagnetics/ Antenna Theory
Mathematica (or similar) Analysis tools
Modelling and Simulation tools
Digital Logic Design
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics from an ABET-accredited school with 12+ years of experience or an MS with 10+ years of experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Researches, designs and develops signal and image collection, processing and dissemination systems. Develops requirements analysis, system architecture, and integrates new signal and image processing technology systems. Designs, develops and analyzes systems for the extraction of information from signal and image sensors. Systems utilization include detection and estimation theories, speech processing, and neural networks; electromagnetic and acoustic effects on signals; and implementation of signal processing with advanced computer architectures.
The Engineer in this role will support advanced technology radar, guided munition and EW programs including research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, high-fidelity radar target signatures and RF modeling, simulation, analysis including integration with OEM RF guided munition sensors and systems.
