Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Richfield, Ohio or Austin Texas preferred.

Job Type: Contract To Hire

About the Project: We are working on an innovative project designed to enhance the efficiency and resolution times for larger retirement plans. Our goal is to streamline processes, improve user experience, and ensure the highest quality of service for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Automate Testing Processes: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage and faster resolution times.
  • Develop Test Frameworks: Create and implement robust test frameworks that support scalability and efficiency for large-scale retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers to integrate testing into the development lifecycle, ensuring early detection of issues.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance for handling large volumes of data.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar testing tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of retirement plan management systems and financial services.
