Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Advanced to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced analytical reasoning and technical expertise to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations. This role requires a strong background in technical program management, stakeholder collaboration, and agile methodologies to deliver impactful technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, cyber risk controls, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Coordinate with central advocacy and development teams to resolve dependencies and assist with problem-solving and prioritization.
  • Contribute to reporting to Senior Management and validate data in reports created by central teams.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to act as a liaison across multiple technology and functional teams.
  • Team player mentality and a positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of internal groups and clients to accomplish common goals.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • A drive for results and the ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning, technical fluency, and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
  • Experience in public cloud adoption (preferably AWS).
  • Experience in software development and technology lifecycles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a financial services firm or banking environment.
  • Experience in project execution and project management (PMP or project management certification).
