Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $80,000 per year (3rd shift differential)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241
Area Code: 317
Shift: 3rd (9 pm- 6 am)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to support and improve CNC machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting automation issues, qualifying equipment, and ensuring product quality meets production standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with machine operators and engineers to align manufacturing processes with design intent, drive continuous improvement, and uphold strict quality standards.
Job Duties:
* Troubleshoot and resolve automation and CNC machining issues to maintain production flow.
* Assist operators with loading parts, setting machines, tending CNC equipment, and applying proper inspection techniques.
* Drive process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.
* Ensure product integrity by aligning methods of manufacture with design specifications.
* Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to resolve quality and process issues.
Required Qualifications:
* 1 or more years of relevant engineering and manufacturing experience (internships considered)
* Proven skills in CNC process improvement and troubleshooting.
* Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Strong understanding of Metrology and inspection methodologies.
* Ability to work 3rd shift reliably.
* Due to the nature of the work ship is required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering.
* Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
* Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing documentation standards.
* Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure continuous quality and process improvements.
