BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated AWS Architect in Hermitage - Remote role!

Position Title: AWS Architect
Location: Hermitage - Remote role
Anticipated Start Date: 07/28/2025

Expected Duration: 1 year

Pay Range: $90-$95/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:

As a Product Architect Contractor, you will actively engage in your software architecture craft, taking a

hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering

solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for Deloitte's business

investments. You will leverage your extensive engineering craftsmanship and advanced proficiency

across multiple programming languages and modern frameworks, consistently demonstrating your

exemplary track record in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be

collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions

Qualifications:

Required:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.

8+ years proven experience with programming languages like Angular, React, NodeJS, Python,

Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang, SQL/NoSQL, unit testing frameworks.

8+ years of experience in designing and architecting enterprise solutions, using cloud-native

engineering, using FaaS/PaaS/micro-services on cloud hyper-scalers like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform,

specifically with demonstrated experience with AWS technologies, including Glue pipeline, Step

Functions, EMR, Lambda, Neptune, Snowflake, Redshift, Aurora (PostgreSQL), Iceberg Table

format, SQS/SNS, Athena, OpenSearch, PySpark, AppSync, AWS SageMaker, and AWS Bedrock.

Preferred:

An advanced degree (e.g., MS in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in software engineering.

3+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI, specifically with large language models (LLMs) such as

OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, and Gemini, including engineering experience with AI/ML-based

applications, including modules based on the Generative AI concept.
