The Opportunity
As a member of the Field Technology Experience (FTX) team, you will help manage and drive the delivery of strategic technical projects supporting our career distribution channel. Your role will entail working closely with home office technical teams, third party vendors, business partners and Field partners to ensure that technology projects, enhancements, and campaigns are delivered on-time and on-budget and that deliverables meet quality and security standards.

The Team
Your team will include regionally aligned Field Technology Ambassadors who interact directly with firm management to help ensure successful delivery and implementation of projects in the field. Your team will also include learning and performance professionals who help with the training pieces for our technology offerings, content managers who help develop and keep materials current, a web consultant who helps aggregate data and reporting and a developer for our field portal.

The Impact:
  • Advise and be the strategic lead on all large and mid-size projects delivered to Field customers.
  • Develop project plans, manage, monitor and report on all project tasks, activities, expectations, controls and deliverables
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work with data, run reporting, and identify data trends.
  • Proven experience managing and leading cross-functional teams
  • Effectively manages the strategy of projects by developing work plans, obtaining approvals, working with project teams to estimate and track resource requirements, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Knowledge in cyber security; able to proactively identify threats, gaps, and vulnerabilities within the technology and security environment.
  • Advises and influences stakeholders at all levels of the business to achieve strategic objectives
  • Collaborates and builds relationships, both virtually and in-person, with colleagues, stakeholders, and teams across the organization to meet shared objectives
  • Engage with all levels across the enterprise managing relationships and expectations.
  • Skilled at negotiating, with the ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate agility
  • Motivate teams to work together, communicate, and deliver


The Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years managing and driving the execution of large complex projects
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Technology


The Ideal Qualifications
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Expert knowledge in data and technology, with a strong understanding of financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge around cyber security.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skills with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with third party vendor management
  • Skilled in applying judgment to balance process compliance with achievement of business objectives
  • Experience working in partnership with technical roles, such as an engineer, developer, data scientist, etc. a plus
  • Project leadership experience focused on engaging others in the delivery and execution of technical solutions and service deliverables
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly
  • Strong leadership skills and influencer
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and organizations
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
