UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Copado Certified DevOps Specialist for a long-term remote position. Applicants must reside in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (EST) for the duration of the project.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
 
  • At least 10-years of relevant IT experience
  • Copado certifications (Administrator, Developer, Consultant).
  • Proven experience in full end-to-end implementation of Copado, including Copado Compliance Hub and Copado Data Deploy.
  • Experience upgrading from change set-driven deployment to Copado to streamline DevOps processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments in an Agile methodology environment.
  • Strong background in CI/CD tools, including Enterprise GitHub, Git, Copado, ANT, and Jenkins.
  • Expertise in managing Salesforce metadata through version control.
  • Experience in sandbox and environment management.
  • Proven ability to manage DevOps processes across multiple organizations and business units.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience. A combination of education, certifications, and directly related experience may substitute for the degree.


SCOPE OF SERVICES:
  • Support the Legacy Replacement Project by working with vendors and internal teams on deployments using CI/CD tools.
  • Implement and manage the Copado deployment process, including pipeline configuration, environment management, user governance, and release management.
  • Transition from change set-driven deployment to Copado's deployment process.
  • Design and implement an improved, streamlined release strategy.
  • Onboard and train developers and other stakeholders on Copado usage.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deployment pipelines and follow up on issues.
  • Oversee and execute production deployments, ensuring seamless metadata migration between environments.
  • Establish strategies to maintain environment synchronization across development initiatives.
  • Provide production support, especially in managing changes and incident processes.
