Position Summary:-
Responsibilities
- Primarily strategic oversight and leadership.
- Requires credibility with Pure, Dell PowerStore, and Azure, but not daily administration.
- Focus is on direction setting, vendor and staff accountability, and modernization outcomes.
- CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI-adjacent compliance obligations.
- Vulnerability remediation alignment with Tenable and SMAX.
- Audit readiness through consistent patching, access control reviews, and runbooks.
- Disaster recovery and cloud-based resilience planning.
- Strengthening lifecycle and patching discipline across OS, firmware, and EOL assets.
- Balancing modernization across Dell PowerStore and Pure Storage platforms.
- Overseeing execution of the Azure cloud buildout, including governance, hybrid identity, and workload readiness.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:-
- Enterprise-scale infrastructure leadership.
- Public-sector or regulated environment awareness.
- Proven ability to lead staff development, vendor management, and modernization (cloud adoption, lifecycle planning, and automation).
- Strong technical talent, but historically siloed.
- Culture is shifting from reactive operations to proactive, standards-driven service.
- Needs leadership that reinforces documentation, accountability, and cross-team collaboration.
