Job Details
Job Title: RF Optimization Engineer
Job Location: Northern California (On-site, 5 Days/Week)
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced RF Optimization SME to join our team in Northern California. This is a 100% on-site role (Monday Friday) focused exclusively on RF KPI analysis, performance triage, and optimization strategy in live LTE and 5G networks.
The role is centered around expert-level evaluation of network behavior, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze RF KPIs related to accessibility, retainability, mobility, throughput, and voice quality.
- Triage network issues using KPI dashboards, logs, and trend data.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend optimization actions based on findings.
- Use tools such as Actix, TEMS, NEMO, and operator-specific OSS dashboards.
- Identify parameter changes and optimization opportunities for improved network quality.
- Generate clear, actionable reports with performance insights and resolution plans.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of RF optimization experience in LTE and 5G environments.
- Strong understanding of RF KPIs, network performance indicators, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Actix, TEMS, NEMO, and various OSS/KPI platforms.
- Prior experience with AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile projects preferred.
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available for on-site work 5 days/week in Northern California.
- Preference for candidates already located in the region or willing to self-relocate.
