Job Description

You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Close Combat Systems (CCS) Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities in the Micro Electronic Center (MEC) in Orlando, Florida. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand , LabVIEW , and CVI , to control signal generation and measurement tools, and conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Radio Frequency (RF) testing, and functional testing.

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing Test Systems support in the Micro Electronic Center (MEC)
Upgrading test equipment hardware and software as needed
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

This position requires the ability to travel (up to 20%) to Ocala and Archbald Production sites as needed.

The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance required to start.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 5 years of professional experience (or 3 years with a Masters), or equivalent professional experience
Radio Frequency (RF) testing and troubleshooting experience
Experience integrating and troubleshooting electronics test equipment
Interim Secret required to start

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
