Job Description:

Myticas's direct client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the Crown Jewels program within the Information Security Risk Management division. This role involves applying analytical and business principles to support projects and ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Apply analytical thinking to diagnose issues and recommend system improvements, incorporating business and technology insights.
• Translate user discussions into clear business requirements.
• Identify business and system needs, recommend solutions, and assist with testing strategies, developing preliminary findings.
• Manage the Crown Jewel asset lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Map and maintain updated data flows for Crown Jewels assets.
• Use appropriate tools to collect, correlate, and analyze data; maintain technical documentation for developing operating and instruction manuals.
• Conduct tests and develop preliminary findings for review by senior analysts.
• Assist in the development of standards and procedures; prepare written reports as needed.
• Apply standard information systems theories, concepts, and techniques in daily tasks.
• Develop solutions to problems by identifying causal relationships, using precedents when available.
• Train other team members as needed.
• Work effectively within teams to achieve organizational goals; actively participate in client and team meetings and provide input.
• Provide leadership in project planning and monitor the efforts of technical and business support staff.
• Manage projects according to defined milestones and complete tasks assigned by senior analysts and managers.
• Guide and support less experienced staff.
• Exercise independent judgment in problem-solving; work is evaluated based on the soundness of business judgment and achievement of objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant technical experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, preferably in Business Systems Analysis or Cybersecurity.
• Experience in systems testing and IT implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Proven ability to build trust, actively listen, and ask effective questions.
• Demonstrated success in project leadership with positive outcomes.
• Strong ability to manage time and priorities independently.
