A recognized services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new ServiceNow Expert to lead the design, development, and administration of their ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management
Design, script, and implement new applications, workflows, and integrations to expand ServiceNow functionality
Develop and maintain API based integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
Partner with IT and business teams to refine workflows, automate processes, and improve service delivery
Implement role based access controls, monitor platform performance, and ensure compliance with security policies
Plan and execute version upgrades and patching with minimal disruption
Produce technical and user documentation; provide training to system users and administrators
Qualifications:
4+ years of hands on ServiceNow administration and development experience
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio
Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP web services
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Desired Skills:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD)
Experience with ITOM Discovery, Event Management, or Performance Analytics
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
