Job Location: Remote

Job Duration: 12 Months (Extensions Possible)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team and play a key role in supporting cloud resources for our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure design. As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud solutions that enhance our manufacturing operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Architectural Design:
Design and implement AWS-based solutions that align with the manufacturing plant's business and technology objectives.
Create robust and scalable architecture to support the seamless integration of cloud resources with manufacturing systems.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for automated and repeatable infrastructure deployments.

Networking and Security:
Design and implement secure and efficient network architectures within AWS, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.
Implement and manage security measures, including IAM policies, encryption, and access controls.

Integration with Manufacturing Systems:
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing manufacturing systems and applications.
Ensure seamless data flow and communication between cloud resources and on-premises manufacturing equipment.

Monitoring and Optimization:
Implement monitoring solutions using to proactively identify and address performance and security issues.
Continuously optimize AWS resources for cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and engineering, to understand requirements and provide effective solutions.
Document architectural decisions, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on AWS solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.
• Strong background in infrastructure design, security best practices, and networking within AWS.
• Experience with manufacturing systems and processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Understanding of DevPipeline tools - Jenkins, GitHub
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• AWS Certification

Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $60.00/hour-$65.00/hour.
