Main Sail is seeking a Software Test Analyst to support a Nuclear Manufacturing client. The analyst will play a critical role in validating and assuring the quality of manufacturing and quality-management software systems, leveraging both Visual Studio and Rocket IDE to drive comprehensive test coverage and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for manufacturing and quality systems.
- Validate database schemas and ensure data integrity across application modules.
- Leverage Visual Studio test frameworks and associated Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to automate regression and integration tests.
- Log, track, and manage defects through resolution, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of hands-on software testing experience, specifically within manufacturing or quality IT systems.
- Understanding of relational database schemas and proficiency in SQL.
- Practical experience with Visual Studio IDE for test automation and debugging.
Location: On site, client facility, Lynchburg VA
Period of Performance: Starts ASAP, duration 4-6 months
