Title: Epic HB/HB Claims Analyst (Must be Epic Certified as an Analyst) |

Candidates must be able to come on-site 1 week per month.
Certifications Required: Active Epic Certification in Hospital Billing (HB) Required Experience in Patient Billing Preferred
Minimum Requirements: Epic Experience: o Minimum of 2 years of Epic design, build, and implementation experience in a healthcare organization o Epic Patient Billing experience strongly preferred o Proficient with Epic "assisted application" modules Education: o Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Travel/Onsite: o Must be able to meet onsite hybrid requirements approximately 1 week per month in San Mateo County, CA Technical Proficiency: o Ability to work at a high technical level across all phases: application analysis, workflow analysis, build, testing, and system support o Strong understanding of hospital operations, registration/scheduling environments, and clinical process integration
Primary Responsibilities: Complete Epic application build tasks for a new EHR implementation project Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on: o Workflow analysis o Build documentation o Requirement translation into functional application features Adhere to project timelines and deliverables Support system specifications based on Epic Foundation standards Ensure high-quality application design, testing, and training documentation Follow governance standards: change control, migration paths, and ticket tracking
Duties Include (but are not limited to): Fulfil Epic build requirements in the certified module Collaborate with Epic Project Team, SMEs, and other analysts Participate in design sessions, testing events, workflow discussions, and go-live activities Assist with: o Workflow adoption and training o Documentation of build and design o Identifying risks, gaps, and system optimization Deliver tasks accurately, on time, and in alignment with project goals |
