Role Summary

The Product Cybersecurity team designs, builds and implements solutions within our vehicles that focus on the safety, security, and privacy of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test methods for validating security requirements for Rivian and supplier software
  • Develop test cases and harnessing for our security test automation platform
  • Work closely with cross-domain teams to implement, review and validate issues
  • Work with Factory Software teams to automate tasks for vehicle builds
  • Maintain HIL resources and systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • Focus fields - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Similar
  • 5+ experience working on security, embedded systems, system engineering, and/or test automation
  • Comfortable with a high level programming language like Python, Go, Java or Rust
  • Understanding of networking concepts (Switching, routing, VLANs, etc)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with C/C++ in a variety of applications, (i.e., from bare-metal MCU development up to application SW on an embedded Linux device)
  • Some familiarity with automotive networking interfaces and protocols (CAN, UDS, etc.)
  • Some experience with Hardware, such as harnessing, electronics integration, schematic review, etc
