Associate Information Technology Project Management Specialist

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Associate Information Technology Project Management Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO or North Charleston, SC.

Boeing is seeking an experienced Associate Information Technology (IT) Project Management Specialist to drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge technology projects. This candidate should have a proven track record of managing full lifecycle IT projects, including complex data migrations, budgets, and schedules to deliver quality results on time. Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops and manages information technology project plans and deliverables
  • Assists with determination of project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle
  • Supports incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects
  • Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet project goals
  • Develops and executes project communication plans. Identifies project risks and develops mitigation plans
  • Coordinates and oversees supplier activities
  • Coordinates priorities and activities of project support team
  • Integrates cost, schedule and technical data/metrics into information to aid in decision making and corrective action
  • Provides project status
  • Ensures proper documentation of project deliverables

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • Experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management
  • Experience in managing complex integrated schedules or projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • PMP certification desired
  • Experience with the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter Products
  • Experience implementing SAFe Agile Projects
